Over 600 children sign up for kids' science centre KidsSTOP

More than 600 children have signed up to be members of the first kids' science centre here.

It will open officially on June 6.

The new centre, called KidsSTOP, caters to children aged eight and below.

It is housed in the Science Centre Singapore's existing Omnitheatre building in Jurong.

Key attractions include a 7m giant slide and a secret "music lab" which can only be reached by climbing a 9m-high web.

Young visitors can also dig for dinosaur bones and play construction worker for a day.
