One person taken to hospital after truck topples over along ECP

SINGAPORE - One person was taken to hospital after a truck toppled over along the East Coast Parkway (ECP) on Monday (May 22).

Photographs sent to The Straits Times show an orange Mistubishi truck on the grass at the side of a road and paramedics on the scene near the East Coast Seafood Centre, towards the city.

The vehicle appears to have fallen into a ditch.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force told ST it was alerted at about 3.45pm and dispatched one ambulance.

One person was taken to Changi General Hospital.

ST has contacted the police for more information.
