National Service registration for male Singaporeans and permanent residents born between March 1 and May 31 in 1997 will be conducted from Monday, May 12 till June 3.

Registration can be done online at www.ns.sg or in person at the Central Manpower Base (CMPB) podium at Depot Road.

Those registering at CMPB have to bring along either their NRIC or birth certificate, education certificates, citizen certificates if any, and other documents specified in the Registration Notice.

In a statement, the Ministry of Defence said any registrant may apply to postpone his enlistment to complete his studies. Successful applicants will be notified.

Those who do not meet the postponement criteria or are unsuccessful in their application must fix a date for medical screening between June 25 and July 31 during registration.

On the appointed date, they should go for the medical screening at CMPB between 8am and 1.30pm.

Registrants with queries should call the NS eServices at the toll-free telephone number 1800-3676767 or e-mail them at contact@ns.sg.
