Nominations for Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Awards 2013 opens

Students, parents and teachers may now submit nominations for Malay Language teachers who have made a great impact.

The Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Awards 2013 recognises Malay Language teachers in mainstream schools, who display excellence in promoting and improving the use of the language. There are two categories for the award to recognise teachers who have been in the service for less than 10 years and those who have worked for more than a decade.

Nominees will be evaluated based on their ability to instill the love for knowledge, skills and interest in the learning of the Malay language, literature and culture among students.They will also be evaluated on their willingness to go beyond the call of duty, such as showing care and concern towards the well-being and needs of students.

It is organised by the Malay Language Council, Singapore (MBMS) and Malay Language Teachers Association (PGBM), Berita Harian (BH) and supported by the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC). Nominations are open till Aug 15. Forms will be disseminated through all schools and various online platforms.
