A display featuring 198 painted pumpkins at Seletar Mall's Halloween event yesterday set a new Singapore record, eclipsing the previous record of 143 pumpkins. More than 200 people helped to create the display. At the event, Sengkang West MP Lam Pin Min was one of five judges for a fancy dress competition where participants came dressed as witches, mummies and zombies. A mother, son and daughter team won the top prize of $1,000 SPH Malls vouchers in the group category. The event also featured a henna painting session and photo booth.
