New IT system on cloud improves productivity at nursing homes

The Lien Foundation has launched a new healthcare IT initiative called IngoT II which will help nursing home staff save time on manual processes.

The IT system is hosted on cloud and has been rolled out at Peacehaven Nursing Home and Peacehaven Bedok Multi-Service Centre.

It has helped staff save time on manual processes, allowing them to spend more time with patients. It has also helped to boost productivity. With the system, Peacehaven Nursing Home has saved at least 10 per cent of their manpower needs.

The $2.65 million project, developed by healthcare IT company PulseSync, will be fully implemented in five other voluntary welfare organisation nursing homes by the first quarter of 2014.

IngoT II stands for "IT stretching the capability, potential and imagination of non-government organisations". The first IngoT project, launched in 2007, is a similar IT system for healthcare NGOs but was not hosted on cloud.
