New CEO for Health Promotion Board from March

The Ministry of Health announced Thursday that Mr Zee Yoong Kang, the chief executive of NTUC LearningHub, will take over as chief executive of the Health Promotion Board (HPB) on March 1.

He succeeds Mr Ang Hak Seng, who will move to the People's Association and serve as the chief executive director. Mr Zee joined NTUC in 2003 and under his leadership, NTUC LearningHub was transformed from an in-house training department into the largest training services provider in Singapore, with business operations in China and the Middle East, said the Ministry.

The Ministry also paid tribute to Mr Ang's contribution to HPB, noting that during his tenure, he won the SHRI Leading CEO Award, while HPB was recognised with the Public Service Best Practice Award 2012 for public engagement.
