A new bus service will be launched on Sunday to better connect commuters travelling within Woodlands. Service 904 will ply along Woodlands Regional Centre, Woodlands Drive 73 and Woodlands Crescent.

The bus service is the 13th bus service rolled out under the Government's $1.1 billion plan - dubbed the Bus Service Enhancement Programme - to beef up Singapore's bus network.

The new loop service will also improve connectivity to Woodlands and Admiralty MRT stations, and Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange, where passenges can switch between buses and trains, said transport operator SMRT in a statement on Monday.

The bus service will also better link commuters to facilities in the neighbourhood like the Woodlands Galaxy Community Centre and Admiralty wet market, and also serve schools such as Riverside Primary School, Admiralty Secondary School and Greenwood Primary School.

Bus Service 904 will operate daily from 5.30am to 1am.
