#NDP2015 breaks Twitter record for most number of tweets for one event in Singapore

SINGAPORE - Social media users sent 230,000 tweets about National Day Parade 2015, setting a new record for the number of tweets related to a one-day event in Singapore.

It was double the previous record, which was over 100,000 Tweets for a One Direction concert on March 11.

The number of tweets peaked at around 8.30pm on Sunday, just after the Parade ended with a final colossal fireworks display.
