SINGAPORE - National service (NS) registration for male Singapore citizens and permanent residents born between July 1 and Sept 30, 2000, both dates inclusive, will be done from Sept 20 to Oct 10.

These teenagers may register online at www.ns.sg, or in person at the Central Manpower Base (CMPB) Podium at 3 Depot Road.

For those registering at CMPB, they need to have the following documents with them:

- NRIC or birth certificate

- Education certificates

- Citizenship certificates, if any

- Other documents specified in the registration notice they received

For male Singaporeans or PRs who want to postpone their liability to report for enlistment so that they can complete their studies here, they can apply online or in person.

If successful, they will receive another notice on when they have to report for enlistment.

For those who do not meet the criteria for postponing enlistment, or are not successful in their postponement application, they must make an appointment date from Nov 20 to Dec 26 for medical screening, during the NS registration process.

The medical screening at CMPB will take place between 8am and 1pm on the appointment date.

For further enquiries, registrants can call the NS eServices at 1800-367-6767 or e-mail them at contact@ns.sg.
