SINGAPORE - Marine Parade GRC MP Seah Kian Peng will be out of action for a few days after undergoing an emergency operation to remove his gall bladder on Tuesday morning.
Mr Seah, who is also Deputy Speaker of Parliament, posted a Facebook photo - taken seven hours after his operation - on Wednesday evening of himself and a Marine Parade resident in hospital.
He is expected to be discharged on Thursday.
Fellow Marine Parade MP and Minister for Manpower Tan Chuan-Jin shared Mr Seah's post on his own Facebook page with the message: "Take care Kian Peng! Indeed, don't take good health for granted. Close friend just had a near miss and just heard another piece of worrying development. Rest well!"
