SINGAPORE - A 48-year-old male motorcyclist was involved in a hit-and-run incident on the Seletar Expressway (SLE) on Tuesday (Oct 3) morning.

The police said it was alerted to the case, which happened in the direction of the Bukit Timah Expressway, at 7.05am.

The incident involved a motorcycle and an unknown vehicle.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force sent an ambulance to the scene and took the motorcyclist to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital conscious.

Police investigations are ongoing.

The motorcyclist's 24-year-old daughter, Ms Jerlinda Tan, posted on Facebook on Tuesday afternoon appealing for witnesses to come forward to help find the vehicle that knocked into her father.

A video she posted, from the dashcam of a vehicle behind, showed that another motorcycle had tried swerving into her father's lane, when it knocked him, sending him tumbling.

Another passing car ran over him and his bike on the ground, and drove on too.

Ms Tan, who is an administrative staff, said that her father's ribs and shoulder were fractured in the accident.
