A motorcyclist died after his machine was sandwiched between a tipper truck and a minibus at the junction of Ang Mo Kio avenues 6 and 1 on Wednesday morning.

All in, six vehicles, and not five as earlier reported - a tipper truck, two cars, a minibus, a lorry and a motorcycle - were involved in the accident that happened just before 10am.

The four drivers were taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where three of the drivers were discharged with minor injuries.
