SINGAPORE - Minister of State for National Development Desmond Lee attended and spoke at the annual Bali Democracy Forum in Indonesia on Friday.
Mr Lee delivered a statement during the general debate of this year's forum, which carried the theme "Evolving Regional Democratic Architecture", said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.
He also met with Indonesian Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Dino Patti Djalal on the sidelines of the forum. The two leaders reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties between Singapore and Indonesia. Mr Lee also reiterated Singapore's desire to continue strengthening cooperation with Indonesia in a range of diverse areas.
The forum, initiated by Indonesia, kicked off in 2008.
