Man's body falls onto garbage truck at Tampines, unsuspecting driver drives off

SINGAPORE - A man's body fell from an HDB block in Tampines onto a garbage truck as its unsuspecting crew continued with their daily routine on Tuesday (March 21).

The incident happened around 10.40am at Block 450F, Tampines Street 42.

According to reports from Shin Min Daily News and Lianhe Wanbao, a horrified resident who wanted to be known only as Mr Ong witnessed the grisly sight, chasing down the garbage truck at its next stop to inform the driver and crew of the body.

The deceased was a 51-year-old man who was found lying motionless on the roof of the truck, and pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene, police said in a statement.

The case has been classified as unnatural death. Investigations are ongoing.
