Internal Security chief takes on second role

SINGAPORE - The director of the Internal Security Department will take on another role as Second Permanent Secretary (Home Affairs) from next year.

Mr Loh Ngai Seng, 44, will work with the Permanent Secretary to carry out the Ministry's work while keeping his current position until March.

Mr Loh, who has also worked in the Education Ministry, joined the Civil Service in 1995 in the Defence Engineering and Scientific Service. He was appointed to the Administrative Service three years later.
