A 21-year-old man who allegedly molested a 13-year-old girl has been arrested.

The victim lodged a report with the police on Jan 15 this year, informing them that she had been molested by a man on a bus that was travelling along Upper Bukit Timah Road.

Officers from the Jurong Police Division eventually identified the suspect and arrested him at Choa Chu Kang Ave 4 on Wednesday.

For outrage of modesty, the suspect faces a maximum jail term of five years, or a fine, or caning, or any combination of these punishments.
