A deliveryman was charged in court on Wednesday with murdering a fellow colleague at a timber company in Kranji on Monday.

Chinese national Li Yongxiang, 26, allegedly caused the death of Mr Zhu Ai Hua, 35, at the factory premises at Kranji Loop between 5pm and 5.45pm that day.

Mr Zhu was allegedly attacked with a knife after a fight.

Li is remanded at Central Police Division lock-up for further investigation.

His case will be mentioned on June 26.

If convicted of murder, he faces the death penalty.
