SINGAPORE - Telcos M1 and StarHub have scored an eleventh-hour deal to broadcast the English Premier League (EPL), which kicks off this Saturday (Aug 13).

On Thursday (Aug 11), M1 started offering its Fibre Sports Bundle that comes with online streaming services for EPL matches and a 1Gbps fibre broadband plan for $44.90 a month. The offer applies to new and recontracting fibre broadband customers.

StarHub will be streaming key EPL matches over its online platform StarHub Go. StarHub's mobile customers watching the games on their phones will not incur any data charges or deplete their monthly mobile data allowance. The telco will show three “live” games and three delayed telecasts per week throughout the season for $19.90 a month.

Football fans can sign up from its website www.starhub.com/go-packs from Friday (Aug 12). The StarHub Go app can be downloaded on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

The EPL content is provided by Eleven Sports Network, which is also showing the same matches on its online platform for $19.90 a month. Eleven’s digital streaming service is available on elevensports.sg or the Eleven Sports app, which can be downloaded on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Eleven Sports Network had licensed three live games and three delayed telecasts per week from Singtel. Singtel, which has the exclusive EPL broadcast rights in Singapore, is offering all the matches live for $59.90 a month.
