SINGAPORE - A puppy was found inside the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) tunnel on Monday (Sept 28), hours after it had wandered out of its sitter's flat at Pipit Road near MacPherson.

Real estate agent Beverly How, who was looking after the dog Odie for her friend, said it had slipped out of her gate.

"A friend opened the gate and the dog escaped," said Ms How, 46, who lives on the second floor. A video of the dog sitting by the road shoulder of the expressway was widely circulated on social media.

The Straits Times understands that the dog was returned to its owner on Monday night.
