For the next three weeks, the Marina Bay waterfront will shine with some 25 light art installations by local and international artists. Designed with sustainability in mind, they were constructed with environmentally-friendly materials or energy-saving lighting. More than 70 buildings around the bay have pledged their support for this festival, and will raise air-conditioning temperatures and switch off non-essential lighting to offset the power consumption of the light installations. i Light Marina Bay will run from 7.30pm to 11pm daily, with the show extended to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. It will run until March 27. Admission is free.
