SINGAPORE - Labour movement leaders enjoyed the Universal Studios Singapore theme park with union members on Saturday night, as part May Day celebrations by the National Trades Union Congress.

Attending the May Day Fiesta was NTUC's Deputy Secretary-General Chan Chun Sing, who becomes labour chief on Monday.

 Also mingling with the crowd were current NTUC Secretary-General Lim Swee Say, who becomes Manpower Minister on Monday, and NTUC Deputy Secretary-General Heng Chee How.

The May Day Fiesta is an exclusive three-night event in which Universal Studios Singapore is open to union members and their guests only, from 5pm till midnight, May 1 to May 3. Some 35,000 union members and guests are expected to turn up to enjoy rides, firework displays, food and street entertainment.
