Kovan double murder suspect Iskandar Rahmat, a senior staff sergeant with the Singapore Police Force, is set to appear in court to face charges of killing car workshop owner Tan Boon Sin, 66, and his son, Mr Tan Chee Heong, 42.

The elder Mr Tan was discovered dead in his terrace house on Hillside Drive, while his son's body was found about a kilometre away near Kovan MRT station.

Iskandar, 34, faces the death penalty if he is found guilty. He has been suspended from duty.
