The Singapore River Festival begins tonight (Oct 23), with performances running until Sunday.
One of the highlights of this year's festival is the Human Net act, by Spanish performance troupe La Fura dels Baus. This act consists of 42 volunteers attached to a huge net that will be suspended 30m in the air. It will be done at Clarke Quay at 8pm and 10pm tonight and tomorrow.
Held in conjunction with Singapore River Festival is River Nights 2015, which is organised by the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM), National Arts Council, National Parks Board, Singapore River One and Hermes. This festival includes a light show projected on ACM, interactive light and sound installations and dance and theatre performances on the Empress Lawn. The River Nights 2015 will end on Oct 31.
