SINGAPORE - In the last launch of Housing Board flats for the year, which began on Tuesday (Nov 22), 5,110 Build-to-Order units and 5,008 balance flats not sold in previous launches are on offer in both mature and non-mature estates.
The BTO flats include 2,194 units across three projects in Punggol, with starting prices before grants ranging from $80,000 for two-room flexi flats, to $348,000 for a 3Gen flat for multi-generation families.
The rest of the BTO flats are in mature towns, with 1,655 units across three projects in Bedok, 1,018 units across two projects in Bidadari - a new estate which is considered part of the mature Toa Payoh town - and 243 three-room and four-room units in Kallang Residences in Kallang/Whampoa.
Starting prices for units in mature towns, before grants, range from $135,000 for a two-room flexi flat in Bedok to $497,000 for a four-room flat in Kallang Residences.
There are also 5,008 balance flats up for offer in the simultaneous Sale of Balance Flats exercise, across a range of towns and estates, and ranging from two-room flexi units to 3Gen and executive flats. These flats are closer to completion.
The executive units, which are no longer being built by the HDB, are located in the non-mature estates of Choa Chu Kang, Jurong East, Sengkang, Woodlands and Yishun, and the mature estates of Pasir Ris, Queenstown, Serangoon and Tampines.
Applications for both BTO and balance flats are open until 11.59pm on Monday, Nov 28.
The next Build-to-Order launch will be in February 2017. The non-mature estates of Punggol and Woodlands will offer about 1,770 and 170 flats respectively, while the mature estates of Clementi and Tampines will have 1,600 and 620 units on offer.
