SINGAPORE - An executive maisonette at Block 194 in Bishan Street 13 has been sold for a record sum of $1,088,888. The sale of 27-year-old two-storey unit, located on the block's upper floors, is the latest in a string of million-dollar transactions for HDB units. In 2013, four HDB properties breached the $1 million mark. Here's a look at the record-holders.

October 2014: A 1,615 sq ft executive maisonette unit, located between the 22nd and 24th storeys of Block 194 at Bishan Street 13, was sold for $1,088,888.

November 2013: A 1,615 sq ft executive maisonette unit on the 20th storey of Block 190 at Bishan Street 13 fetched $1.05 million.

May 2013: An executive maisonette at Toh Yi Drive fetched $1 million.

April 2013: A 2,863 sq ft corner terrace house in Whampoa fetched $1.02 million. The terrace house is one of 285 landed public homes built by HDB's predecessor, the Singapore Improvement Trust.

October 2012: A 1,750 sq ft executive maisonette at Block 194 in Bishan Street 13 was sold for $1.01 million.
