SINGAPORE - The Government will continue to reduce the number of new Build-to-Order flats, launching 25 per cent fewer next year, said National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan on Monday evening.

After three years of ramped-up supply from 2011 to 2013, the Housing Board slowed the pace this year with 10 per cent fewer units. Next year, it will slow things down a further 25 per cent, launching about 16,000 units across four BTO exercises.

Mr Khaw was speaking during the first episode of Mandarin television programme Hello Singapore.
