SGH: 907 patients screened for hepatitis C, no new cases reported so far

SINGAPORE - As of 1pm on Wednesday, the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) has screened 907 patients for hepatitis C, said the hospital in a statement on Wednesday evening.

This is up from 903 patients screened on Monday.

The patients that were screened had stayed at Wards 64A and 67 between January and September this year.

Of the patients screened so far, 860 tested negative and three tested positive, as reported earlier. Some 44 test results are pending.

A total of 315 staff have been screened. All tested negative.
