Haze update: 2pm reading falls to 178, the first time it has gone under 200 since 6am

The three-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) at 2pm dropped to 178 from 263 an hour earlier.

The 24 hour average PSI at 2pm also dipped to a 172-197 range from 173-199 earlier.

Air in the 101 to 200 PSI range is considered "unhealthy" range but people on the streets of Orchard Road reported clearer skies compared to Friday afternoon when PSI readings hit a record high of 401.

Anything above 300 is hazardous, while readings between 201 and 300 are very unhealthy.
