Four suspects arrested within a day for robbery

SINGAPORE - Four men aged between 16 and 25 were arrested on Tuesday (March 21) for their suspected involvement in a robbery case.

Police received a report on the same day at about 12.25am informing them that a man had been assaulted at a unit along Spottiswoode Park Road by a group of men. The men had also taken away his mobile phone.

Officers from Central Division established the suspects' identities after extensive ground enquiries.

Anyone found guilty of robbery with hurt can be jailed from five to 20 years, and punished with not less than 12 strokes of the cane.
