Four more dengue deaths as cases surge

Over 13,500 cases reported, with infections hitting 1,000 a week for 3 consecutive weeks

Four more people have died of dengue, bringing the total number of deaths this year from the viral infection to 16, as of June 23.

The Ministry of Health told The Straits Times that the people who died were between the ages of 49 and 82, and that 14 of them worked or resided in active dengue clusters.
