SINGAPORE - A fire broke out at an office unit at Hong Lim Complex on Thursday afternoon.

There were no injuries, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). SCDF was alerted to the fire at the third-floor unit at 1.10pm. Firefighters had to force their way into the unit by breaking down the roller shutters, and extinguished the fire with one water jet.

There was no evacuation and The Straits Times understands that there was no one in the unit at the time of the fire.

Investigations into the cause are ongoing.
