Ferrari burnt after bursting into flames near Penjuru

A red Ferrari was completely burnt after it burst into flames on Penjuru Road on Wednesday afternoon.

The sports car was stationary when the incident happened, and the driver is believed to have left the car to investigate after he saw smoke coming from the engine.

An eyewitness, Mr Derrick Chua, 26, said that he was at a coffeeshop just opposite when everyone's attention turned towards the road. "I saw smoke coming out, it grew thicker, and eventually the car burst into flames."

The Singapore Civil Defence Force arrived shortly after.
