SINGAPORE - Members of the public began lining along the funeral procession route of Mr Lee Kuan Yew early Sunday morning.

Undeterred by the slight drizzle, many came armed with umbrellas, stools, food and water.

Their common aim: to bid Singapore's founding father a final farewell.
