Extra train and bus services on eve of Chinese New Year

Train and bus services will be extended on the eve of Chinese New Year, Feb 9. Some bus services will be affected by road closures in the Chinatown area.

On the North-East Line: The last train towards HarbourFront will depart Punggol station at 1.47am, Serangoon station at 1.58am, Dhoby Ghaut station at 2.11am, Chinatown station at 2.15am, and Outram Park station at 2.17am.

The last train towards Punggol will depart HarbourFront station at 2.09am, Outram Park station at 2.12am, Chinatown station at 2.15am, Dhoby Ghaut station at 2.19am, and Serangoon station at 2.31am.

For LRT services: The last train for both East and West Loops will depart Sengkang Town Centre Station at 2.45am. The last train on the Punggol East Loop will depart the Town Centre station at 2.48am.

Bus services: The last bus timings of 26 bus services will also be extended. They are 51A, 60A, 63M, 181, 222, 225G, 228, 229, 232, 238, 240, 241, 243G, 261, 269, 282, 291, 292, 293, 315, 325, 333, 334, 358, 359, and 410W. The last bus will depart the interchange between 2.45am and 3.05am.

For Chinatown Direct services: CT8, CT18 and CT28, the last bus towards Chinatown will depart at 11.00pm. The last bus on the return service will depart Chinatown at 2.10am.

Bus stops: Eight bus stops will be affected by road closures from 5pm on Feb 9, to 3am on Feb 10. These are the Pearl's Centre, People's Park Complex, and People's Park Centre stops along Eu Tong Sen Street, the New Bridge Centre and Chinatown Point stops along New Bridge Road, the Outram Park Station stop along Outram Road, and the stops opposite Hong Lim Complex and opposite the Subordinate Courts along Upper Cross Street.
