SINGAPORE - MPs freshly minted after the Sept 11 polls, are stepping up efforts to help constituents fight the haze.

The 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) has been in the unhealthy range (101 to 200) since Monday (Sept 14).

Besides distributing masks, they are also dispensing advice to residents on keeping healthy during the haze period.
