Helping to keep your surroundings clean will become easier with a new litter-picking toolkit.

The toolkit, which includes litter pickers, trash bags, wet wipes and a guide, was launched this morning by Minister for Environment and Water Resources Vivian Balakrishnan at a community event in Bedok.

About 250 volunteers used the tool kit as they cleaned up the neighbourhoods in Bedok on Saturday.
