Snapmax snack product recalled after stone found in packet: AVA

SINGAPORE - A snack product containing mixed peas and peanuts is being recalled after a member of the public found a small stone in one packet, the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) said in a statement on Wednesday (Nov 30).

AVA received a complaint last Tuesday (Nov 22) about a stone found in a 150g packet of "Snapmax" Party Mix - Mixed Peas and Peanuts, which is made in Malaysia.

It is working with the importer to recall products from the batch expiring on Oct 21, 2017.

Customers are advised not to consume the product.
