SINGAPORE - With greyish, hazed-shrouded conditions now a familiar sight thanks to an extended dry spell and the ongoing forest fires in Indonesia, have Singaporeans forgotten what clear blue skies look like?

This year's crisis in the region is set to be one of the worst on record, according to the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration, with the haze said to possibly last till November.
