SINGAPORE - Air quality is expected to be in the moderate range on Saturday (Nov 7), the National Environment Agency (NEA) said in its haze update.

Thundery showers are expected in the afternoon, and visibility is expected to be in the normal range, NEA said in a statement on Friday.

It added that the prevailing winds are forecast to be weak and variable.

The 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) was in the high end of the moderate range on Saturday.

At 6pm, the 24-hour PSI was between 79 and 92, which is in the moderate range. The 3-hour PSI was 89.

Given the air quality forecast, the public can continue with normal activities, NEA said.
