Haze: Air quality moderate on Wednesday; rain expected in the afternoon

SINGAPORE - Air quality is expected to be in the moderate range on Wednesday (Nov 4), the National Environment Agency (NEA) said in its haze update on Tuesday.

Thundery showers are expected in the afternoon, and visibility is expected to be in the normal range, NEA said.

NEA added that the prevailing winds are forecast to be weak and variable.

The 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) has been in the good or moderate range since last Wednesday.

At 6pm on Tuesday, the 24-hour PSI was between 53 and 62, which is in the moderate range. The 3-hour PSI was 61.
