SINGAPORE - A fire broke out on the ground floor of an uncompleted block of Housing Board flats in Punggol on Saturday morning.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it received a call at about 10.48am from the public, alerting them to the blaze at Block 677 Punggol Drive.
Two fire engines, a Red Rhino emergency response vehicle, two fire bikes and one support vehicle were dispatched to the scene, the SCDF said.
The fire, which was confined in a room and affected an area 5m by 5m, was put out within 10 minutes, the spokesman added. Nobody was injured, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
