SINGAPORE - Expect rain and cooler temperatures as Singapore enters the north-east monsoon season, the National Environment Agency (NEA) said in a weather advisory on Tuesday (Dec 1).
Light winds will be "blowing predominantly from the north-east or north-west", NEA said.
During this period, short, thundery showers are expected mostly in the afternoon and early evening. Next week, as monsoon winds strengthen, there could be moderate to heavy rain on one to two days.
The temperature range for the coming fortnight is forecast to be between 22 and 33 deg C.
December is usually the wettest month of the year based on meteorological data.
