Employment help for students with learning needs from Temasek Cares, Bizlink

Disadvantaged students with learning needs now have a higher chance of being employed.

Temasek Cares and Bizlink Centre, a non-profit organisation which helps the disabled secure jobs, have set up a new programme to help these students get a job.

Graduating students from Northlight School and Assumption Pathway School will get help to identify job opportunities which suit their ability and also help to secure these jobs.

In addition, Bizlink Centre show students how to adjust to the new work environment and monitor their performance so they can stay in the job. The programme has been given a $500,000 grant from Temasek Cares, the philanthropic arm of investment company Temasek Holdings.
