Parents of the the current generation of pre-schoolers consider MindChamps a "top-of-the-mind" brand, according to Asia-wide market research.

For this reason, the pre-school operator, which was founded in Australia in 1998 and opened in Singapore in 2002, has won the Influential Brands Top Brands Award in the pre-school education category for the third year running.

Parents aged 21 to 31 voted for their "top-of-the-mind" pre-school, MindChamps said on Monday.

The market research covered Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and China.

MindChamps chairman David Chiem said: "MindChamps' strong foundation has always been built on honouring our promise to deliver high quality when it comes to research, programme development and curriculum delivery."

With 33 pre-schools in Singapore, MindChamps has a current pre-school market share of close to 40 per cent. It has also opened two pre-schools in the Philippines and is setting its sights on Australia and, more recently, the United Arab Emirates.

MindChamps trains students from early childhood to secondary school in "the art of learning how to learn and the development of their mind, in order to be a champion learner as they progress through their schooling and working careers", said a spokesman.

Mr Chiem said the school takes its commitment to constantly innovate and improve teaching so seriously that it created its own Champion Gold Standard mark, a set of quality benchmarks.

He described their latest award as an "affirmation of the dedication and hard work" of their teachers, stressing the value of these "'heroes' working behind the scenes".
