122 students pick up awards for achievements in academic and non-academic areas

SINGAPORE - A total of 122 students picked up Special Awards for achievements in academic and non-academic areas on Tuesday.

Ms Indranee Rajah, Senior Minister of State for Education, handed out 132 of these awards from nine categories at a ceremony at the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation Regional Language Centre.

Ms Rajah, who is also Senior Minister of State for Ministry of Law congratulated the awardees on their "outstanding service to the community, and exceptional perseverance in the pursuit of self-improvement".

She urged them to take time to discover their passions and strengths, and to continue to deepen their skills through work and continuing education later on.
