DPM Teo to meet Princess Sirindhorn, PM Prayut on working visit to Thailand

Singapore's Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean will make a two-day working visit to Thailand from Sunday (May 29).

Mr Teo will have an audience with Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who will also host a dinner for him, said a press statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

He will hold talks with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and key members of the Thai government, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Prawit Wongsuwon and Minister of Interior Anupong Paochinda. He will call on President of the Privy Council Prem Tinsulanonda.

He will also meet Singaporeans living in Thailand at a dinner reception, said MFA.

Mr Teo , who is also Coordinating Minister for National Security, will be accompanied by Government Parliamentary Committee (Defence and Foreign Affairs) Chairman Vikram Nair, officials from MFA, Ministry of Defence and the National Security Coordination Secretariat.
