SINGAPORE - Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) has warned the public against falling for a scam where scammers approach the people to ask for donations to a purported "TTSH cancer research fund".

In a Facebook post on Monday (Feb 12), the hospital said it has been alerted by several members of public who said they were approached by such scammers.

"This is a scam," said the hospital. "The authorities have been informed of the situation."

TTSH advises those who encounter such scammers not to engage them but to inform the police instead.

The hospital's legitimate avenues for donation are on its website.
