'Dip and Win' at new SPH vending machines

Readers can pick up Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) newspapers at three more vending machines from today.

The new machines by SPH have been rolled out at FoodLoft outlets in Kaki Bukit Avenue 1; Lorong Bakar Batu, near MacPherson Road; and Jurong East Street 21.

By August, there will be 50 such machines across the island.

The first three were launched last Tuesday. Two are at the FoodLoft outlets in Clementi Avenue 3 and Avenue 4, with a third in Havelock Road.

Meanwhile, readers who buy newspapers also stand to win prizes.

For every copy of newspaper bought at the three new vending machines, the reader is entitled to one chance in the "Dip and Win" promotion.

To be eligible, readers must buy the newspaper on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, from 11am to 2pm or 3pm to 7pm.

Staff will be near the vending machines during those times, and readers can pick a slip from a box to find out what prize they get.

Prizes can be collected on the spot. They include bottles of New Moon Bird's Nest worth $46.90 each and bottles of Yeo's Satay Sauce worth $2.95 each.

There will be other contests to celebrate the launch of the new machines, in which readers stand to win cash and prizes worth up to $20,000.

More information will be published at a later date.
