Students interacting with a T-rex mascot at the entrance to Dinosaur Valley - Singapore Zoo's latest attraction, which features lifelike animatronics of 16 dinosaur species including Tyrannosaurus rex and Spinosaurus.

The exhibit seeks to raise awareness of a possible sixth mass extinction as the world has already lost 67 per cent of its biodiversity in the past 50 years, according to Wildlife Reserves Singapore director of education May Loke.

Visitors will be able to learn about the connections between prehistoric animals and some of the living animals at the Singapore Zoo and River Safari. The exhibition will be on from Nov 26 to March next year, and the usual park admission charges will apply.
